Never thought of adding fenugreek leaves or methi in a sambar. A good way to add some for the fussy eaters and it would be so flavourful and delicious too. Bookmarking this to try soon.

I love using fresh methi leaves in my cooking. It's been a long time I made methi sambar, this will be on my menu tomorrow.

My little one digs this Keerai Sambhar.. I make it very similarly, but like a dump all and cook in a pressure cooker, esp on weekday mornings. But with the mandatory Sunday Potato Roast, this is another heaven only 🙂

I am a huge fan of fresh methi which we use quite often in Gujarati dishes. But this fresh methi sambhar has totally caught my attention. With the cold weather prevailing,am sure the family will enjoy this different kind of sambhar with rice or idli.

Vendhaya keerai sambar, such an aromatic and flavorsome simple dish! Its a regular at home, as we get the greens throughout the year here, though amma prefers to make it with the small bunch we get in India ! I too chop everything except the roots, unlike some who have amazing patience of removing the stem and leaves separately! Glad i could see someone like me!! hifi sandhya!
