Amelia, glad you liked the recipe. Yes, when the methi is a little mature, the stems are quite fibrous.

I have never cooked with fresh fenugreek leaves and my husband and I loved this recipe. I did not know to cut off the thicker stems from the fenugreek as they are tough and fiborous but it was still delicious!

dal tastes great when mixed with greens. In winters such combinations are so heavenly. fenugreek dal looks absolutely comforting and inviting with those chapatis. Loved the step by step clicks.
