Viswa, I would cook the frozen beans directly on the pan without pre cooking it. That works very well. So add the seasonings and then the frozen beans and cook sprinkling some water. Once the beans is cooked add the coconut. Hope this helps.

Would the same process work with cut frozen beans. I am not good at gardening so no chance of growing fresh beans. Also cut frozen beans tend to be much larger pieces than what your photo shows. It would be a pain to cut them into smaller pieces and I am hoping we can avoid it.
